SURFACE TREATMENT
Surface finishing is performed using metal coating and painting technologies.
The plating shop utilizes technologies of batch and suspension galvanizing of parts of ferrous metals and zinc alloy cast pieces. These materials are plated in mildly acidic or alkaline baths with gloss and matt effect.
In order to enhance their anticorrosion protection the galvanized surface is treated with yellow chromate fit for subsequent sealing, blue passivation of the zinc coat without Cr6+ fit for subsequent sealing or thick-layer passivation of the zinc coat without Cr6+ fit for subsequent sealing (there is a high corrosion resistance of up to 1000 hours before white corrosion).
The plating shop also provides for suspension phosphating of hot-dip galvanized components. All lines are automated.
Our modernized powder paintshop offers the possibility of a degreasing and phosphating surface pre-treatment in order to enhance adhesive capacity and corrosion resistance. The line includes a pass-through powder coating booth (SAMES) with quick colour change and automatic coating machines.
We also have available a manual booth for small batches. We are able to provide colours of the RAL range, metallic finish and structured powder coats. The capacity of the paintshop is up to 140 m²/h with maximum dimensions of powder-coated components of 1500 x 1000 x 700mm. The coating process is subject to continuous electronic monitoring and adjustment.
