ZINC PRESSURE DIE CASTING
The technology of pressure die casting is used to make zinc alloy cast pieces and our strong point is the production of thin-section cast pieces which are highly demanding as regards precise dimensions, inner homogeneity and surface quality, including cast pieces intended for subsequent powder coating.
The work site is equipped with Frech casting machines with a clamp force of 50 - 2000 kN operating in an automatic mode, including melt batching from in-house holding furnaces.
Each work site is furnished with mould tempering equipment, automatic spraying equipment and inspection discharge scales.
The machines feature a modern control system - a real-time control mechanism.
The equipment supplied by FONDAREX enables us to produce cast pieces in vacuum moulds (vacuum cavity) - the technology of which significantly enhances the homogeneity of the cast pieces.
The work site is naturally furnished with breaking-off and separating equipment that separates castings from flashes and risers.
Reverse melting of risers and flashes takes place in a gas melting furnace.
The chemical composition of the alloy is verified using a SPECTROMAX analyser.
